All the values are automatically populated from the 26 trade pages below. You can add/edit/delete rows with a macro. No need to know how Excel Works. Anything in Blue can be changed, but all values in Black are Locked. There are almost 1000 rows which is a huge checklist. Column I is for prices. If you omit a price, a message will appear in the yellow column L.
Each Section has 3 Quote rows. You can enter 3 quotes but only enter 1 in column H to activate the one you want to use. There is a Specification Sheet to allow you to select construction type eg: Double Brick, Brick Veneer and/or Framed, and other variables.
The next Section is the “Auto-Take-Off” Module which feeds into the trade pages. This was AI before AI was invented! This can also be populated from data exported from “Take-Off” software such as PlanSwift etc. Below see the top part where you enter the house Width and Length. Then enter areas of non-existent slabs to calculate the concrete, footings external walls etc. There are Sections for Brickwork, Roofing, Plaster, Tiling, Painting which are all automatically generated.
